If you don’t want to use store bought bean bags, you can make your own by folding a 5X8 inch piece of heavy fabric in half, right sides together. Stitch on two sides. Turn right side out and fill with small dried beans. Sew the open edges closed.

A sock bean bag can be made by cutting off the foot of an old cotton sock and filling it with small dried beans. Turn the open edges under and sew them together securely.

You can always use shoulder pads instead of bean bags.

Throw the bean bag…and catch,

Turn around, turn around, stomp, stomp, stomp.

Throw the bean bag…and catch,

Turn around, turn around, stomp, stomp, stomp.

Put it on your head and walk around the room,

Put it on your head and walk around the room.

            --Hap Palmer

Come and march along with me, let’s march along.

As we hum a little tune & sing a little song.

Pick up your feet and stand up tall.

March along, don’t let that bean bag fall!

Come and march along with me, let’s march along.

            --Laura Johnson

Pass the bean bag, pass the bean bag, pass the bean bag,

STOP! Who’s got the bean bag?

The person who’s left holding the bag

Put the bean bag down on the floor.

The person on your right, pick the bean bag up,

And start passing it around once more.

Pass the bean bag, pass the bean bag, pass the bean bag.

(Repeat 2 or 3X)
