POTATO HEAD PARTY*
INVITATIONS:
- Mr. Potato Head Has His Nose in a Book;
- Mr & Mrs Potato Head Only Have Eyes for Each Other
- Mr. Potato Head, Space Spud
DECORATIONS: Toy Story background; Farmer’s Field; Potato Heads Everywhere!
- Use Google Images and Pinterest for templates; decoration and food ideas
REFRESHMENTS: Potato Chips; Sticks; anything made from a potato
- I know that food allergies come into play, but if you choose to have refreshments, keep it simple.

FAVORS/CRAFTS:
- Bookmarks
- Mr. Potato Template
- Coloring Sheets
GAMES:
- PIN—Accessories on toy Potato Heads
- TOSS—Potatoes in basket
- FLOOR—Fishing game for Potato Head figures and/or accessories
- RELAY— Potatoes on spoons
- HOT POTATO—
- DUCK, DUCK, GOOSE—Potato, Potato, Squash
- BINGO card using Potato Head Accessories: eyes, ears, nose, mustache, hat, tie, etc.
- If children attending are old enough, how many words can you make using: Potato or Potato Head
PROGRAM:
- Read a book/poem about potatoes
- Break into smaller groups for games and activities
- Get together for favors and making crafts
VOLUNTEERS:
- Get teen or adult help to “serve”
COST:
- Request donations of Potato Head characters or use a Toy Library
- Amazon has Potato Head stickers
- Use actual potatoes, so the children can take their decorated potato home
TIME:
- About an hour-and-a-half should be sufficient, depending on the number of children passing through, and how much help you have.
* Can also be part of a Toy Story Themed Party
