Recreation Centers-Summer

The following was gleaned from PUBYAC 9-4-2014. Your colleagues would appreciate anything new you may do.

  • Try meeting with directors of the groups that you want to visit weekly in April
  • Talk about the pressures of summer and fair use of the space by everyone
  • Talk about the day and time that they may want to commit to?
  • Offer a brief program (repeat the week's program for the public)
  • Let the directors know they their kids can join the SRP as a group and earn the same prizes.
  • Let the directors know both daycare/camp expectations--supervising the kids and enforcing behavior/rules of library. 
  • What are the kid expectations--soft voices, walking feet, reading books, etc
