Here he comes just a stampin' with his feet,
Singin' "Dino Ditty, ditty dum, ditty do."
Searchin' all around for something good to eat,
Singin' "Dino Ditty, ditty dum, ditty do."
He's huge! He's huge!
He's strong! He's strong!
Won't be hungry very long!
Singin' "Dino Ditty, ditty dum, ditty do."
Dinosaurs lived so long ago,
They never had a chance to know,
How many kids would love to get,
A dinosaur to be their pet!
--Bobby Katz
I’m bringing home a great, big dinosaur,
Won’t my mommy love to hear him roar,
I’m bringing home a great, big dinosaur,
Stomp, stomp, stomp!
Oh, he fell through the floor!
Spread your arms, way out wide
Fly like Pteranodon, soar and glide.
Bend to the floor, head down low,
Move like Stegosaurus, long ago.
Reach up tall, try to be
As tall as Apatosaurus eating on a tree.
Using your claws, grumble and growl,
Just like Tyrannosaurus on the prowl.
Roar, roar, went the dinosaurs a long time ago,
Roar, roar, went the dinosaurs a long time ago,
Roar, roar, went the dinosaurs a long time ago,
And their teeth went…
And their claws went…
And their tails went…
Where, oh where, have the dinosaurs gone?
Where, oh where, can they be?
With their spikes and horns, and their fearful roars,
Where, oh where, can they be?
The enormous brontosaurus is as tall as can be.
Her lunch is a bunch of leaves off a tree.
She has a very long neck, and her tail is long too,
And she is much, much too large to fit in the zoo.
5 Little dinosaurs went out to play
Out in the valley one fine day.
A bigger dinosaur ate one, as a snack,
And 4 little dinosaurs came running back.
(Repeat 4-3-2-1)
No little dinosaurs..
Tyrannosaurus Rex couldn't find anything to eat
So off he went to go back to sleep!
(Sung to: Twinkle, Twinkle)
Many, many years ago,
Lived the great big dinosaurs.
Some ate plants, some ate meat,
Traveling by air, or on their feet.
Then the earth turned very cold,
The dinosaurs died, so I’ve been told.
5 Enormous dinosaurs
Letting out a roar!
One went away,
Then there were 4.
4 Enormous dinosaurs
Munching on a tree.
One went away,
Then there were 3.
3 Enormous dinosaurs
Didn’t know what to do,
One went away.
Then there were 2.
2 Enormous dinosaurs
Having lots of fun.
One went away,
Then there was 1.
1 Enormous dinosaur
Afraid to be a hero.
He went away,
And then there were zero.

One baby dinosaur began to roar:
"I want to eat some more, some more."
Two baby dinosaurs began to roar:
"We want to eat some more, some more."
Three baby dinosaurs began to roar:
"We want to eat some more, some more."
Four baby dinosaurs began to roar:
"We want to eat some more, some more."
Five baby dinosaurs began to roar:
"We want to eat some more, some more."
Then all five fell asleep and began to snore!

Dinosaur, dinosaur,
Where can you be?
Hiding behind me
Where I can't see.
Dinosaur, dinosaur,
I'm waiting for you!
Out comes one--
Now, there are two!
Dinosaur, dinosaur, turn around,
Dinosaur, dinosaur, touch the ground.
Dinosaur, dinosaur, reach up high
Dinosaur, dinosaur, wink one eye
Dinosaur, dinosaur, touch your nose
Dinosaur, dinosaur, touch your toes
Dinosaur, dinosaur, slap your knees
Dinosaur, dinosaur, sit down please
Dinosaur, dinosaur, roar, roar,
Dinosaur, dinosaur, shut the door!
