Stir, stir, stir the soup,

Taste a little sip,

A pinch of this, a bunch of that,

To give a little zip!

Stir, stir, stir the pot

Don’t you let it get too hot!

                --STORYTIME CRAFTS

Grab yourself a letter,

Throw it in the pot,

Stir it up,

Stew it up,

Serve it real hot.

Read it while you eat it,

Serve the whole troop.

Can’t get enough of that “Alphabet Soup.”

Alphabet soup, couldn’t be better,

Let’s go thru it letter by letter.

                --Tom Chapin

Bubble said the kettle,

Bubble said the pot,

Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble.

We are getting hot.

Shall I take you off the fire?

No, you need not trouble,

This is just the way we talk,

Bubble, bubble, bubble.

Animal crackers in my soup,

Monkeys and rabbits loop the loop,

Golly, gee, don’t I have fun,

Swallowing the animals one by one.

In every cup of soup I see,

Lions and tigers watching me.

I make them jump right through the hoop,

The animal crackers in my soup.

When they’re inside me, where its dark,

I walk around like Noah’s ark.

Stuff my tummy like a goop,

The animal crackers in my soup.

When my forehead's feeling hot,

Do I want a pizza? I do not!

When I cough or when I sneeze,

Give me a bowl of hot soup please.

Eating chicken soup with rice,

Makes me feel so very nice.

So when you're feeling under the weather,

Chicken soup might make you feel better.

(sing to: If You’re Happy and You Know It)
There are noodles, noodles, noodles in my soup,
There are noodles, noodles, noodles in my soup,
There are oodles, oodles, oodles of the most delicious noodles,
There are noodles, noodles, noodles in my soup.
