This'n'That

I know a little, zigzag boy,

Who goes this way and that;

He never knows just where he put,

His coat, or shoes or hat.

I know a little, zigzag girl

Who flutters here and there;

She never knows just where to find

Her brush to fix her hair.

If you are not a zigzag child

You’ll have no cause to say,

That you forgot, for you will know

Where things are put away.

This is big, big, big,               (arms out to side)
This is small, small, small;      (cup hands together)
This is short, short, short,      (hold hands with palms facing each other)
This is tall, tall, tall.                (reach one hand above head)
This is fast, fast, fast,             (circle fists quickly)
This is slow, slow, slow;        (circle fists slowly)
This is yes, yes, yes,              (nod)
This is no, no, no!                (shake head)

There was tall Dunn,

And small Dunn,

And over Dunn,

And under Dunn,

And all the other little Dunn’s

In and out they run.

There was old Dunn,

And young Dunn,

And young Dunn’s youngest son,

And young Dunn

Will be Dunn

When old Dunn is done!

We’re following the leader,

The leader, the leader.

We’re following the leader,

Wherever he may go.

Tee-dum, Tee-dee,

It’s part of the game we play.

It is the song that never ends,

And it goes on and on my friends,

Somebody started singing it not knowing what it was,

It is the song that never ends.
