Billy Beaver loved the water,
Had a friend named Bobby Otter.
Built a dam,
Swam and swam.

Move Over, Mother Goose!
5 busy beavers, working night and day,
The 1st one said, “Let’s take time to play.”
The 2nd one said, “We have a master plan.”
The 3rd one said, “We have to build a dam.”
The 4th one said, “We must build until we’re done.”
The 5th one said, “Then it’s time for fun.”
The beavers worked hard all night and day.
Then, they smacked their tails, and swam away.
One little beaver, feeling very blue, (hold up one finger)
Called for his brother then there were two. (hold up two fingers)
Two little beavers, swimming by the tree, (swimming motion)
Called for their sister then there were three. (hold up three fingers)
Three little beavers waddle on the shore, (waddle)
Call for their mother, then there were four. (hold up four fingers)
Four little beavers learning how to dive, (Make diving motion)
Call for their father, then there were five. (hold up five fingers)

Beavers one and beavers all,
Let's all give the beaver call. (Hold hands, limp-wristed, in front of your chest.)
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Beavers two and beavers three,
Let's all chew a beaver tree. (Hold and gnaw an imaginary log.)
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Beavers four and beavers five,
Let's all do the beaver jive...and rock to the beat. (Hold hands at shoulder height, index fingers pointing up,)
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Beavers six and beavers seven,
Let's all fly to beaver heaven. (Hook your thumbs in your armpits, and flap your "wings" to the beat.)
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Beavers eight and beavers nine,
Let's all give the beaver sign. (Hold hands, palms together, parallel to the ground, clap open and shut.)
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Beavers ten, beavers ten.
Let's be beavers once again.
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh
