Have the children form a square or a circle.
As you say the rhyme, have the children wearing name-tags of each color do the actions indicated.
(Could also have sashes of the different colors--red, blue, yellow, green.)
Speak slowly so that they can follow one direction at a time.
Blues, step forward.
Then turn around.
Walk back to your place
And jump up and down.
Reds, hop to the middle
And back again.
Find the yellows
And shake their hands.
Now, greens, you slowly
Turn around.
Clap your hands
And make a sound.
Do-si-so
Around we go,
All the colors
Heel and toe.
