Parachute Rides

Wheels on the bus

Kids in the middle of the parachute sitting or under the parachute, parents pick up edges. 

Sing wheels on the bus while parents are moving round and round in a circle

For open and shut have the parents lift the chute over the kids heads then bring it back out.

For wipers back and forth, wave the edge of the parachute back and forth.

Finale Songs

• Play the popcorn song from Barenaked Ladies cd. SNACKTIME

• Shake the parachute slowly at first then faster as the pot heats up, have the kids shake hard till it pops! throw the pop-corn back on and do it again 

• Cotton balls or Pom Poms can also be snow falling sing or play jingle bells or sing snow is falling down all around.
